Hierna zijn er al uitzendingen geweest bij Menno, Gwen, Savino en Daan (zie foto links). Vanavond zijn wij in… Rijswijk! In het huis van Eddy Mi Ami! De producer van vele i Venti hits. Dus…Bepakt en bezakt met draden, snoeren, laptops en camera’s richting… Rijswijk.
Every tuesday a radio show (completely in Dutch) hosted by the co-founder of Radio Stad on FM in the 80s and also co-founder of Radio Stad on the internet that started in the year 2002. This DJ has worked for well known radiostations, is a voice over and now back on his roots. His name…. Herman van Velzen! The show is called ‘Wine, records & chat’. Herman will play pure Radio Stad pop and disco classics from late 70s and 80s. Also lots of digitized audio fragments from the Radio Stad past! Enjoy
Tonight we air a show we did almost exactly 10 years ago on sunday the 23rd of december 2012 One of the best formal Radio Stad dj’s and later a well known voice on national radio died rather sudden after being diognosed with cancer on the 22nd of december 2012. Ofcourse too young and it was a shock to us all. So the next day, on that sunday the 23rd, we organised in no time a tribute show where all Radio Stad jocks and friends were present. Because it is 10 years ago that this happend we like to remember him and rerun this show. 6 Hours long with lots of music. Audio only and in Dutch
RIP Ger 1960-2012
Op 22 december 2012 hoorden wij dat voormalig Radio Stad DJ Ger de Goede (van den Brink) was overleden. Voor ons allemaal een enorme schok, wij wisten dat hij ziek was maar had kwam toch als zeer onverwacht. Ger was voor ons een goede vriend, een prachtig mens, een fantastische dj met dito stem en een dj van het eerste uur bij Radio Stad Den Haag sinds 1982. (voordien Radio Batavia en Radio City) Ger sprak ook de legendarische laatste woorden uit op 1 januari 1988 toen Stad de lucht uit moest. Nadien was hij o.a. te horen op Radio 10 Gold, Radio West en Den Haag FM maar het contact verloren wij nooit met hem. Op zondag 23 december hadden alle Stad jocks binnen no time een tribute uit de grond gestampt. Een ieder die Ger gekend en mee gewerkt had waren aanwezig. Het werd een prachtige avond vol met mooie verhalen, een lach, een traan en fijne muziek. Wij vonden het dus meer dan gepast om na 10 jaar deze hele tribute nog eens te herhalen in nagedachtenis van Ger. Omdat wij niet vergeten. 6 Uur lang genieten.
