Wat een avond weer..
Zoals je hebt kunnen lezen in de post van Gwen, hadden we vanavond een interessante gast in de studio; Alan Chan vanuit de UK.
Edward zorgde voor de muzikale invulling van vinyl en Gwen voorzag alles van een vrolijke overpeinzing….
Waar rode wijn al niet goed voor is! Michiel presenteerde een Haagse Flitsende uit 1986 en ja hoor, dj Renaldo en Jolly kwamen ook nog op de borrel, samen met de happen van Denny vd Meer was het weer een onvergetelijke radio-cafe avond. De winnaars zijn inmiddels bekend van de dubbel cd..Gefeliciteerd!

Next sunday the 22d of april, Alan Chan from roller disco records is coming all the way from the UK to visit Radio Stad den Haag. He wil promote the latest cd that will be released 23d of april. “Roller Disco Records, now on its 6th release, was born 2 years ago and initally
began life as a small label to help promote some of the more underground italo music
within the UK. Up until this point, there were committed underground radio stations
and DJs within the UK promoting italo and underground 80s synth, but other than
re-issues and bootlegs there weren’t much in the way of quality italo mix CD
represented in the underground dance music stores, despite the continued growing
popularity of italo within the UK. The objective of Roller Disco Records has always
been to expose italo and 80s synth to a more mainstream audience of dance music

Han en Menno zijn naar de alternatieve platenbeurs geweest en hebben een tas platen meegenomen.
Vers vinyl op de draaitafels dus. Richard heeft wat interessante weetjes en Michiel tekent weer voor presentatie en regie….
Vanavond was er een surprise visit van radio jock Marc Jacobs, bekend van Groeistad Radio…
In het verleden iemand die Michiel als DJ bij zijn station (N44 vanuit Wassenaar) wilde hebben
Leuk om ouwe koeien weer eens op te rakelen!

Een gewaarschuwd mens telt voor twee! Het is vandaag 1 april en Gwen & Michiel zouden je vanavond zomaar in de maling kunnen nemen. Menno Schut zet de platen op en lult een lekker stukje mee.
