Tonight a very busy evening and with international guest!!! First Eddy Mi Ami will visit us with the audio files of the new upcoming releases on i Venti records!! Bomba’s! Then, all the way from Australie in our mids the artist-singer Peter Wilson. This man is active sinds the mid 90s working with SAW but also wrote for Amanda Lear, Nicki French a.o., collaborated with Mirko Hirsch & Italoconnection and more, since this year he is with Analog Langue label owned by DJ, remixer & producer Rafal aka A.P. Mono from Poland who is also here with us presenting their new upcoming album ‘A different picture’ plus exclusives from A.P. Mono himself. Fred Ventura has a new compilation album called Italia undiscovered & PTB’s bandcamp choice this week is from Lucca Leeloo with The one i love in Italoconnection remix. Oh what an international music evening it will be again.

20:00hr – Herman van Velzen & Eddy Mi Ami op je radio deze dinsdag in de ‘Stad Super 2’ live show. Voor je wekelijks portie Radio Stad nostalgie !
Deze dinsdag avond zal voor een groot deel in het teken staan van het overlijden van oud Stad jock uit de jaren 80, Rens van de Mar. Rens was natuurlijk ook bekend als DJ van Discotheek de Marathon in Den Haag. Hij is afgelopen 20 juli overleden aan de gevolgen van Parkinson en zou in september 69 jaar worden. Uiteraard wordt het een luchtige show vol gezelligheid en gave oude fragmenten gedigitaliseerd door Herman.
Vanavond is ook Ron Steusfij erbij, Ron kent Rens ook al zijn hele leven en heeft mooie verhalen te vertellen. Natuurlijk is er heerlijke muziek uit de jaren 80 en uit de Marathon tijd.

Enjoy this tuesday evening when Eddy Mi Ami and Herman entertain you with great music and fun items. Completely in Dutch but the music says it all. On top you see foto’s of Rens, he used to be a Stad jock in the 80s and a famous resident dj in a local discotheque, he sadly passed away and ofcourse the will speak about him in a very pleasant way this evening. Mostly the next day all our liveshows are available in our stack to download & on our Youtube channel.

Today the sad news reached us that one of the RSDH DJ’s from RSDH in the 80s passed away; Rens will be remembered… Wie kende hem niet als je uit Den Haag kwam en tevens Stad DJ in de jaren 80, Rens van de Mar, Het trieste nieuws bereikte ons dat hij in juli is overleden. Rust zacht Rens…. Today we play the DJ Tin Tin remix of You and me from the Funny Twins (1987) that was produced by Albert One. Now available on ZYX. Another classic hit, Mike Canon’s Voices in the dark was remixed by Flemming Dalum for ZYX, we gladly share that with you too. PTB’s Bandcamp push for this week comes from the States, a real good Synthpop track called Systematic by Synthetic saints. Jerry will put in some Hi NRG for you also.
