I myself also serve the internet for more inspiration, and look (but especially listen..) what i came across… We all know that the Flirts woman changed by time to time. First we had an Andrea, Rebecca and a Holly, then Hope took the place of Holly, followed by Linda Jo Rizzo who took another once place and still sings like an angel. But this version, now sung by Geri, might be a bad example for your list..

In de aanloop naar de Top 100 vuren we de komende dagen weer wat tips op je af, waar je mogelijk op kunt stemmen. In deze donkere dagen is The Night natuurlijk erg toepasselijk. Al was het een zomerhit, dus een peiode waarin de dagen hopelijk wat minder donker waren. Tenzij de zomer van 1984 net zo zonnig was als die van 2011 natuurlijk.
In deze clip valt de bijzondere haardracht weer op. De jaren 80 waren wat dat betreft erg vermakelijk, je kon er niet gek genoeg uitzien. Misschien is dat ook wel de reden da de producers van deze plaat, de familie Nicolosi, niks meer willen weten van dit avontuur. Ik denk eerder dat het verwaande kwasten zijn, die zich nu voordoen als serieuze artiesten. Ik zou zeggen, als je niks meer wilt weten van je historie, stuur dan ook even de knaken terug naar de mensen die destijds je platen gekocht hebben! Anyway, zo lang het nog kan en de video niet verwijderd wordt van Youtube door de Nicolosi’s is hier Valerie Dore met The Night. Stem hier op jouw favoriete 10 platen voor onze top 100.
Onze omroepster Gwen, lieve luisteraars, is een weekend naar onze Zuiderburen voor een feestje, vlak aan de grens.

Ook 2012 beginnen we met een groot feest, want op zondag 1 januari zenden wij live de 7e editie van de Radio Stad Den Haag Top 100 uit. Zoals ieder jaar kan jij weer meestemmen voor deze historische lijst. Ja, historisch, want de artiesten staan inmiddels met flappen te zwaaien bij de notaris “of er wat geregeld kan worden”, zodat ze zeker in de lijst terugkomen. Want wat voor artiest ben je, als je niet in de Radio Stad Top 100 hebt gestaan?
Dat sommige Stad jocks meer kunnen dan wijn drinken en slap brabbelen, bewijst Herman met de produktie van onderstaande gave trailer voor het grote feest. Natuurlijk mag je deze trailer ook op je eigen site zetten.
